Big chop AGAIN! — February 4, 2014

Big chop AGAIN!

Once again my hair has been chopped off. HEAT DAMAGE got me again. When will I learn ladies. There is no way to heat your hair and come out with no damage at all, my damage was the worst. I tried conditioning , washing, beer rinse. After that I chopped it. A head of healthy hair that is short is better than long unhealthy locs. It’s just hair … Remember… It grows back.

True Love

Love yourself. Be less concerned with what others think of you. Do not let looks, weight or hair define you. Do not let others perception of beauty define you. You are beautiful. Don’t go with the flow of this world. Go with the flow of your heart and mind.

The Sew-In Series: After Sew-In Care — January 21, 2014

The Sew-In Series: After Sew-In Care

The Sew-In Series : After Sew-In Care
After having a sew-in properly removed from your hair, your hair will be in need of some extra TLC.
1. The first thing is to de-tangle hair with a wide tooth comb. This is a MUST-DO. DO NOT go on to wash your hair without de-tangling it. It will leave with a matted mess and you may end up cutting your hair.
2. Shampoo and deep condition the hair. While conditioning the hair run a wide tooth comb through it to get out any extra tangles before rinsing the conditioner out.
3. Optional hot oil treatment.
4. Apply some leave in conditioner to hair after washing.
5. Keep hair out of a weave for at least a week, also stay away from heat or anything else that will stress your hair.
